StaffWerk is currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Steward/Dishwashers. As a leading provider of temporary staffing in the hospitality industry, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Steward/Dishwashers play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow for the entire culinary team.
Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored
• Remove trash and recycling from the kitchen and designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and storage areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Steward, Dishwasher, or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with excellent multitasking and time management skills
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff

Pay: $15 per hour
