Job Details Our construction company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Manager for our Multifamily Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multifamily projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing multifamily construction projects, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the construction process from pre-construction to project completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Oversee the work of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Manage the procurement of materials and equipment needed for the project
- Ensure that all project closeout activities are completed on time and to the satisfaction of the client
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on multifamily construction
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical construction estimating
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to lead and manage a team of subcontractors and vendors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
