Job Summary and Qualifications

The Night Shift Medical Technologist 's primary responsibility is the accurate and timely performance of laboratory tests as assigned. In the absence of onsite formal lab leadership, most senior staff may serve as responsible for the overall operations of the laboratory including specimen processing and all levels of error investigations. This includes providing quality control guidance, preventive maintenance of equipment computer activities, and collection of specimens.

What qualifications you will need:

• NCA Certified Lab Specialist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or Certified Lab Assistant, or Clinical Laboratory Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Technologist must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Prior experience in the hospital setting is preferred.
