Job Description
Our Client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Gainesville, GA location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in tooling design of die cast molds (both hot and cold chambers) and trim dies. Experience in overseeing the full execution of projects, 3D modeling utilizing SolidWorks, proficiency in 2D print tolerances, and GD&T required. A Mechanical or Industrial Engineer degree is preferred. This role will be responsible for handling all new program launches, oversee the full conception of product design, provide engineering support, troubleshoot/sample the tool, and perform continuous improvements efforts, while working closely with customer/tool shop/production teams per specifications.
