We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician for our Manufacturing division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and highly skilled teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal productivity and safety.
Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
2. Diagnosing and repairing or replacing faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
3. Troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system malfunctions and machine breakdowns.
4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all equipment.
7. Participating in continuous improvement activities and suggesting changes that will improve efficiency, safety, or quality.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment.
3. Excellent technical understanding of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
4. Strong electrical skills, including knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, and industrial wiring.
5. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and understanding of basic safety procedures.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
