Responsibilities: Lightspeed LA is seeking a talented and versatile Producer with a passion for games. In this role, you will be collaborating with both internal and external teams to produce high-quality content for an ambitious next-generation AAA game.
As a producer and outsource animation manager, you are the essential link between our internal teams, external teams, and vendors, you will manage our process and communications to ensure a smooth operation. Your process management and asset tracking expertise will be vital for this role.
The ideal candidate is a self-starting Producer who has Pod management and outsource experience who can coordinate and manage cross-departmental processes and road-map alignments.
- Own and manage the ambient animation roadmap, which includes scheduling and tracking updates across all feature groups, from requests to prototypes, mocap shoots, and game integration.
- Communicate frequently and effectively across all departments so visibility is clear, track dependencies, and eliminate roadblocks to ensure all work is on track.
- Work closely with producers and stakeholders to align on schedule across departments.
- Own all animation outsource tasks, create briefs, package assets, and implement best practices to manage external teams.
- Collaborate with our internal team to generate detailed Jira task information, such as frame ranges, props info, reference info, technical notes, play blasts, schedule requirements, etc., to ensure we have clear direction and information to support the external vendors.
- Forecast resource needs, manage outsource budgets, and work with the internal
production team to approve contracts with outsourcing partners. - Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve our pipeline efficiency.
Requirements: - 5+ years in game production or an equivalent project management role.
- Experience developing multi-platform AAA game.
- Well versed in using Jira, Shotgun/ShotGrid, or other industry standard tasking systems, including crafting basic JQL or other equivalent searches to build relevant dashboards/data sets.
- Has the ability to effectively manage and mediate meetings with creative and technical team members, producing targeted action items and decisions.
- Detailed oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with excellent problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with managing budgets and staff resource plans.
- Demonstrated proficiency with building and improving pipelines.
- A team player who can wear multiple hats to support the project.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $103,200 to $157,200 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
