Job Description

Hiring a Chair of Radiology to join a large medical center with a strong Academic Affiliations in New York City, offering a full array of imaging services. The Chair of Radiology will lead a strong clinical department and develop a state-of-the-art imaging.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and implementation of a strategic vision for the department.
• Support transformation and oversee the construction of new state-of-the-art facilities.
• Ensure the provision of exceptional care residents as part of the patient care team.
• Ensure adequate department physician coverage schedule and arrange for appropriate time for medical resident participation.
• Encourage the creation and establishment of quality improvement and risk management programs for the department.

• MD or DO degree
• Valid NYS medical license
• Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology
• 3+ years of administrative /leadership experience required
• Proven track record of successful leadership, administrative skills and academic achievement
